Barbados Music Awards 2011

The Barbados Music Awards 2011 was held in the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Barbados on January 8th, 2011.

Barbados’ most beautiful singers, songwriters, performers and producers were awarded for their talent.

A star-studded cast of nominees and attendees enjoyed this glamorous red carpet affair, which has been running annually for six years. Prizes included Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year and Entertainer of the year.

Pre-event workshops and presentations took place on 5th, 7th and 8th January at The Hilton Hotel, where a musically aware crowd discovered, created and networked.

Winners at the final awards ceremony on the evening of the 8th January included Rihanna, Blood and Red Plastic Bag.
