Sunbury Plantation House is over 300 years old, steeped in history, featuring mahogany antiques, old prints and a unique collection of horse-drawn carriages. This is the only great house, with all rooms available for viewing.

Illaro Court is the former residence of an ex-governor general of Barbados and is now the residence of the Prime Minister of Barbados.

One of the main highlights of this festival is the two-day open-air concert held at Farley Hill National Park with breathtaking scenery, set in the grounds of the once regal Farley Hill house. The film ‘Island in the Sun’ was filmed there in 1965, sadly later on that year the house was destroyed by fire.
